New York-based label Elizabeth and James has just revealed their first ever collection of watches.
In today’s world of high tech timepieces, designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have chosen to keep things simple. The watches were inspired by the 70s, from NASA to the Jetsons, and feature LED screens. They have just one function, to tell time.
Speaking to Vogue about the collection, Ashley Olsen said:
“We have a shared nostalgia for the digital watches of our youth, we wanted to capture that appeal but in a modern and interesting design.”
Alongside the new timepieces, Elizabeth and James has also launched an e-commerce site, where the watches are now available. Although, if you’d rather stick with the retro theme, you can shop the pieces in their Los Angeles store too. Check out a few of the simple and sleek designs below.
