Sunday, September 25 2011, marked the 5th annual edition of the Manifesto Festival in Toronto. As has become the Manifesto tradition, the closing night of the festival featured a ton of free shows from prominent hip hop acts both local and international. This years ‘Live at Dundas Sqaure’ concert featured performances from some of hip hops most revered icons including Rakim, Kid Capri, 9th Wonder, and Phonte, while local boy JD Era dropped some of his hits including “Pay Day 2” which featured a surprise visit from Wu-Tang’s Raekwon. Not bad for a night of free hip hop.
