French songstress Beatrice Martin, known as Coeur De Pirate, played Toronto’s Danforth Music Hall for the final date of her tour for her latest album ‘Roses’. With an uncertain future ahead for the project, the night felt much heavier than it might have otherwise, however Martin was a lively force on stage and the occasion didn’t slow her down.
While she’s played Toronto quite frequently, this was certainly the largest stop to date, and with a full production behind her and an excellent band backing her up, the stage show certainly lived up to the occasion.
