Last night we attended the launch of the beautiful brand spanking new J. Crew store at (le sigh) Yorkdale. Filled and merchandised to the brim with pastel cashmere, cropped trousers, silk blouses, luscious leather goods, and even a shoe salon, the store was more than we imagined it to be, especially in its gauche mall surroundings.
The lovely creative director Jenna Lyons welcomed a who’s who of fashionable guests into the perfectly prim shop to enjoy summer treats while previewing the colourful fall collection before the stores official public opening today. Sneak a peep at the displays and launch photos below.
