Ever since I took a stroll through the Interior Design Show earlier this year in Toronto, I’ve been obsessing over the colour red more so than usual, and I’m not just saying that because it’s Valentine Day! Not only is it a great statement colour and the on-trend colour of the year in the design world (besides Radiant Orchid), but a great colour to wear in the winter to brighten up all those blah winter greys.
In this outfit I’m wearing this super mod vintage graphic patterned dress I found on Etsy a few weeks ago. Once I received it, I had it shortened, as I often do with much of the vintage I find, to make the look a little more modern to off set the dominantly loud print. I’ve paired it with these colour blocked chunky heels from Zara, a studious pair of Moscot specs which come with detachable clip on shades, and this wonderful neon orange pony haired leather clutch from ASOS.
I’m also wearing a Maje peacoat over the look and my vintage mink hat for extra warmth on those blistery cold days of winter. I love this the vintage vermilion red colour of this coat for everyday, as well as the neat cheat pockets to warm up your hands on those days you forget your gloves.
Take a look through some of the details of my outfit below.
