The 2025 Cadillac CELESTIQ is unlike anything Cadillac has ever made. With a price starting over $400,000 CAD, this all-electric sedan isn’t just a car—it’s a handcrafted work of art, built for those who want something truly one-of-a-kind. Cadillac is aiming high with this one, taking on ultra-luxury brands like Rolls-Royce and Bentley, and doing it with bold style and futuristic tech.
Design-wise, the CELESTIQ is long, low, and sleek, with a flowing shape that gives it a powerful yet elegant presence. It sits on massive 23-inch wheels, and every inch of it feels thoughtfully sculpted. Cadillac drew inspiration from its most iconic models of the past, bringing them into the future with modern design and materials.

Each CELESTIQ is hand-built at a special facility in Michigan and made to order. That means no two are the same. Buyers have the opportunity to work directly with Cadillac’s design team at the award-winning Cadillac House, a mid-century modern wonder on the GM grounds. While at Cadillac House, you work with a designer to uniquely personalize everything—from colours and trims to interior materials and details, literally. The result is a vehicle that’s as unique and individual as its owner.
Under the hood (or rather, under the floor), the CELESTIQ runs on GM’s Ultium electric platform. It utilizes two electric motors to deliver approximately 600 horsepower and 640 lb-ft of torque, launching from 0 to 100 km/h in about 4 seconds. It’s fast, smooth, and silent. The battery gives an estimated range of up to 483 km and supports fast charging, adding around 125 km of range in just 10 minutes.
While the CELESTIQ presents as a large, impressive silhouette on the road, it handles like a nimble car. With smooth acceleration, braking and overall handling, there is a level of thought put into the actual driving of this automobile that is impressive in its own right. We drove it along the peaks and valleys of the Angeles Forest Highway, a 25-mile/40-kilometre road that twists and turns over the San Gabriel Mountains just outside of LA. A personal favourite of ours is active rear steering, which makes for tighter turns and better maneuverability, something you really appreciate as you whip around the corners of the mountain roads.
Inside, it’s a full-on luxury experience. A massive 55-inch screen spans the dashboard, featuring custom displays for both the driver and passenger. Rear-seat passengers also get their own large entertainment screens. Everything is wrapped in premium materials—soft leather, real metal, and fine wood—and the whole cabin feels more like a private lounge than a car.
Sound is handled by a 41-speaker AKG Studio audio system, featuring speakers placed both inside and outside the car for a truly immersive experience. The roof is made of Smart Glass, allowing each passenger to adjust the amount of light that comes through their section—something no other car currently offers.
Cadillac is only building a limited number of CELESTIQs, each taking months to build. The first deliveries are expected by the end of 2025, and due to high demand and low supply, buyers are already lining up.
The CELESTIQ is Cadillac’s boldest move yet. It’s not just about transportation—it’s about craftsmanship, comfort, and creating a truly personalized luxury experience. Cadillac shows the world what American luxury can be in the electric age.
