While some spent their Canada Day celebrations migrating north, we made the decision to leave our sleeves at home and dive head first into Toronto’s biggest outdoor rave. We’ve all heard of Digital Dreams, and while some dismiss the event because of certain generalizations about what the music represents, we couldn’t be more stoked to be supporting something so large and local. And let’s face it, only in its third year, an event that brings around 80,000 ravers to our shores is obviously worth checking out.
The festival bolstered a fairly magical 48 hours, with partiers taking the opportunity to dress up or down. Mostly down. Mother nature brought her good vibes and sunshine, besides a bit of a shower near the end of the second day. There was much love for local acts like Thugli and Keys N Krates, and an even bigger army of neon for the massive main stage acts like Justice and Eric Prydz. With over 102 DJs playing the weekend it was impossible to check them all out, but we did manage a few crazy crowd shots.
