We had the pleasure of previewing what’s in store from Converse for the fall winter 2012 season last week and we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and fuzzy offerings for the cooler forthcoming days.
Normally we’d suggest you put away your kicks after the fall, but stylish offerings like the Major Mills, Sargent Hi’s, and Hikers, say otherwise. The Major Mills are an interesting take on work boots combining leather, canvas, and reinforced wedged rubber sole that almost remind us of Red Wing boots, while the Sargent Hi’s offer a more casual yet vintage feel.
The premium boot collection not only looks slick, but has grippy rubber soles and fuzzy sheering inners, while the Hikers, with heavier leather outers, metal eyelets, and contrast laces, are perfect for that unpredictable mid season weather.
For the dryer days of winter and fall, new coloured classics come in suede, leather, and signature canvas, in autumnal shades like mustard, teal, forest green, and burnt orange. Capsule collections from Gorillaz, Marimekko, DC Comics, and John Varvatos also continue for the season.
Whatever the weather, Converse is an easy choice for the fall winter season. Check out some shots from the preview below and look out for these collections in store soon.
