Following their profile of Atlanta’s 6LACK, Apple Music has announced that Toronto’s favourite rising singer/songwriter, Daniel Caesar, will be the latest featured artist to receive the “Up Next” treatment.
In addition to recording a live session and exclusive documentary with the Apple Music team, Caesar sat down with Beats 1 host Ebro Darden to discuss his strict upbringing, the process of creating his upcoming Freudian album, the relationship that inspired the project and the therapeutic qualities of his music.
“I think I do all of this to make myself feel better. I feel like I’m singing to myself.”
Caesar will also be the featured musical guest on tonight’s episode of The Late Late Show With James Corden – make sure to tune into CBS at 12:37 a.m. EST.
