Don’t mean to brag, but since this issue of Toronto Life hit newsstands, the compliments have simply not stopped! I thought I should take a minute to break down the outfit I posed in, which they dubbed “The Anna Karenina” look for fall in the Navigator section. Shot by the incredibly talented Toronto-based photographer Norman Wong, this pic was taken down one of my favourite lane ways in the east end, where Jamie Kennedy’s only bricks and mortar still stands on Gilead Place.
They asked me to mimic an outfit I wore back at Toronto Fashion Week earlier this spring that made the rounds of Fashion Magazine, Elle Canada, and BlogTO and because I couldn’t really think about wool and fur JUST yet, I put together the outfit quite similarly with my trusty Joe Fresh felt coat a new pair of matching fresh floral pants (also Joe Fresh), along with my Miista heels, my mom’s vintage Lynx fur hat, Juma scarf, and my Goyard St. Louis tote.
