Eager fans packed into Toronto’s legendary Mod Club last night for a headlining performance from Brampton rapper Pryde.
The hometown love was clearly present as almost half the attendees packed into the venue for a VIP early entry. By the time the show began, fans were screaming for “Loverboy,” the title of Pryde’s most recent project.
After opening sets from local favourites Mutari and Rajan, Pryde took the stage and performed selections from all throughout his career including new unreleased material. The 23-year-old rapper tirelessly asked the audience if they wanted to go home and they continuously answered accordingly: “SUCK MY DICK,” they chanted.
