After much teasing via facebook and instagram earlier this week V Magazine has finally released all four Lady Gaga covers photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin for their fall fashion issue #85. Styled by Brandon Maxwell, Gaga wears custom Dolce & Gabbana, custom Giorgio Armani, custom Balenciaga, custom Versace, and custom Saint Laurent Paris (lucky girl!).

In the final segment of the series, Lady Gaga embodies a character closest to her current state of mind. Having successfully recovered from her hip surgery and subsequent hiatus, she is ready to bring the rest of the world into her ARTPOP consciousness. Marina Abramović tells Lady Gaga not to be afraid to show her humanity to her fans and asks her whether or not she gets a chance to relax. Gaga replies:
“Relaxation is so futile. I understand relaxation in only one way. I’m only relaxed when I’m on the stage.”
