Chloe Comme Parris sustained their indie designer cred with a collection for fall winter 2013 that any 90s loving grungy hipster would kill for. Setting the tone musically with tunes by Nirvana, Tame Impala, and Beck, models with distressed braids (a cleaner dreadlock) and neon creepers traipsed through a pair of Marshall monitors setting up the backdrop for the collection.
Fabrics like velvet, leather, wool, and metallic rayon brought to mind our recent thrifting trip, yet botanical printed silks and thigh high nylons made the look modern. There were also quite a few military influences through the line including cleaned up army green jackets in crisp wool and a sleeveless camel vest accessorized with chokers and safety pins.
