RUDSAK never fails to excite us with dramatic outwear and leather goods each season and this fall winter 2013 collection saw a shift in the level of design by Evik Asatoorian.
Bags were less adorned by leather and straps and instead more chic and simplified; outerwear still remained fur heavy but oversized collars more changed the look slightly; and leather and knit blouses mixed with sheer detailing begged to be layered. Even the footwear takes a step away from the somewhat pedestrian styles with a pair of black platform ankle boots featuring one elegant strap and dotted leather bobble back. Our favourite looks of the season in a sea of black on black were a sequinned pair of soft gold pants with black legging material at the back (yes one can still get away with leggings as pants when gold sequins are involved) , a leather trimmed blazer, a wearable side zip wool jacket with gracious fur collar and leather sleeves, and a mens quilted leather jacket with black fur at the closure.
