After the Season three double premier of GIRLS earlier this week and all that red carpet magic at the Golden Globes, Lena Dunham finally gets her turn at being frigging fabulously glam on the cover of Vogue’s February 2014 issue. We love the sinking, forlorn cover image, which is so un-commercial for Vogue, the beauty which highlights her magnetic eyes, and the bright red and white polka dot button down she’s rocking.
Inside this issue is even more of a treat. The first image features Dunham in an outlandish feathered frock, with a pigeon a top her head, and the next she’s rocking a nude tutu balancing on Adam Driver’s shoulders walking their dog in midtown Manhattan. It gets even more glam as you turn the pages to reveal her sitting elegantly on the egde of a bathtub, then lying upside down on the bed with Driver in one of Prada’s iconic Spring dresses, and the final walking in bright Matisse colours waiting for the subway in Brooklyn.
