I’ve never really been a big fan of wearing leather, but nothing gets me in the mood to layer it on like this brisk fall weather, especially since the season seems oftly short at times. Of course I still wear vintage leather all the time, but I remember the day I got my very first Rudsak leather jacket. I lived in it nearly everyday and delighted when people commented on how soft the leather was. Needless to say that jacket turned my disposition about leather around in a significant way and I can’t wait to pass it along to my children one day.
Fast forward over a year later and I’m wearing the brand again in their 20th anniversary year, warming up nicely to integrating leather into my everyday wardrobe. I’ve paired this plaid and leather blazer with a blue silk dress from Minimum, my Blackbird necklace which I wear with nearly everything, and a pair of grey tights. I accessorized the look with my Community 54 hat I scored a couple of weeks ago in New York, a pair of tall leather Rudsak boots, and a black Rudsak leather backpack.
Take a closer look a the details of my outfit below.
