After our most favourite Italian shoe brand, New Kid dazzled us with their spring summer 2013 lookbook a few weeks back they’ve now released this positively lovely, rather whimsical video for their spring summer 2013 collection set to the music of Geoffrey O’Connor.
Titled after the track name “Proud”, the video follows a beautiful model across the romantic coast of Sicily as well as Thonbury in Melbourne, mixing images of Geoffrey O’Connor singing over the moonlight.
Directed by Shaun Beagley, the video really speaks to the kind of unique “aloof glamour” we’ve come to know New Kid for, so it’s no surprise they cite “archetypal cinematic heroines from the decade that left austerity behind” as an influence for their spring summer 2013 range.
