Last weekend Mountain Dew opened an innovative space in Toronto at Dufferin and Queen doubling as a skatepark for BMX bikers and skateboarders and an all ages live music venue. The “Underground” by Mountain Dew space will not only remain open daily for the next four weeks into April for skaters and BMX bikers, but it will also host six super awesome live music showcases with up-and-coming acts that are totally free and open to an all ages crowd.
Some of the live acts include local Toronto Carpark Records rockers Greys and beach rockers Total Love who are both playing tomorrows showcase, as well as Guelph punk band Coldfront, and local poppers Friday Night Trend, to name a few.
Radness, amiright!?
So grab your bike and head down to 444 Dufferin Street (just north of Queen St. W. on the West side of Dufferin) to shred for free and take in some cool live tunes. See the full show listings and some cool photos from the opening event below.
