Designer Todd Snyder has collaborated with his “favourite surf shorts” brand Birdwell Beach Britches to release a number of capsule collections featuring co-branded pieces that incorporate Snyder’s home of NYC and the West Coast surf label’s heritage.
The first capsule, titled “Moonlight Surf,” includes graphic tees, surf shorts, snapback caps, a tote bag, a jacket and a towel. The collection is coloured in a dark navy that draws inspiration from ocean waves at night.
“I’ve been wanting to do something together for a while,” said Snyder. “When I went out to meet them in Southern California, I immediately sensed how cool they are, how genuine their mission is and how committed they are to preserving the origins of the brand.”
