Moullinex’s album “Flora” released at the end of last year was basically an all you can eat buffet of pure modern disco-funk for us dance music lovers. To be honest, it was breath of fresh air in what sometimes can be a cluster of underwhelming productions these days. Following up it’s success, his label Discotexas have released the next single “To Be Clear” with remix support from RAC, Kraak & Smaak, and most notably, Parisian producer/DJ Zimmer.
Now if you’ve never heard of Zimmer, the one thing you can expect from him is consistent upbeat disco vibes. Dancing piano chords, handclaps, and lit synths will have you moving around no matter your current location. His most recent re-imagining of “To Be Clear” has him slowing down the vocals, but speeding up the tempo in basically everything else.
The single is already on beatport, but you can purchase the sexy white vinyl on the 17th here. Oh, and if you haven’t listened to “Flora” in it’s entirety yet, another definite must.
Ready, set, dance.
