Heritage boating apparel brand Sebago has teamed up with a rather unlikely partner, the band Linkin Park, to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. Working with Music For Relief – a grassroots effort started by Linkin Park in 2004 to aid people affected by the Indian Ocean earthquake and subsequent tsunami – the collaboration comes in the form of a pair of surprisingly nice boots. The boots are made from a blend of nubuck and leather with meticulous stitching along the upper with rawhide laces, metal eyelets, and debossed logos at the heel and tongue. The boots come in an extremely limited quantity with the proceeds of the sales going towards victims of the Hurricane. The boots are priced at $250 USD and are available now from the Sebago online store, and head over to the Music For Relief webpage for more on the organization.
