We’re Coachella bound for weekend two and we’re pretty pumped, especially after all the surprise guests that showed up during the first weekend, we can’t WAIT to see what the second weekend holds! We’re always excited to do that first lap around the grounds when we arrive, take in the art installations, decorations, find out where the good food is, and tour each tent to get a little air conditioning, make up touch up, a little wifi, and learn about some cool new products.
We hear JBL has the jump on the tech side at this years festival and we’re excited to pop by and experience their tent. Inside you’ll find a giant wall of sound they’re aptly calling The Pusle Wall which is both a video and photo booth that allows you to share directly to your social channels. This wall is of course powered by the new JBL Pulse, a speaker system which helps bring your tunes (and party) to life wirelessly through bluetooth and next level LED lights that change according to the songs pulse. Building on the Pulse technology, the tent will also house an interactive game that’s Dance Dance Revolution meets vintage 1970’s Simon, in which you can see your pulse while you try to one up your friends dance moves. Dance off!
They’ll also be launching something called Tweet Music in the tent because what’s a dance off without the prefect music to get you really grooving? Simply tweet anything at all @JBLAudio with the hashtag #JBLTweetMusic and they’ll tweet back a custom song generated by the letters, numbers, and characters in your tweet to listen to through their new E-Series headphones, available to test out in the tent. We never thought tweets could be turned into music, until we saw Josh Groban singing Kanye West’s twitter stream on Jimmy Kimmel. The JBL Tweet Music program is kind of like that, minus kanye, and whole lot more technology behind it.
Coachella is a magical place, maybe if we tweet in the lyrics to “California Love” hologram Tupac will show up!?
Come take your musical pulse in the JBL tent with us, located across from the Sahara stage this weekend!
