Free People launches a new eco-friendly, ethically sourced and made brand called Maheya, meaning “from the earth” in collaboration with a woman named Ruppa who owns her own factory in India dedicated to empowering her workers along with using natural and ethically sourced materials.
The Maheya line will feature a range of garments all constructed using fabrics dyed and printed using medicinal plants, herbs, and biodegradable waste to contribute to the conservation of nature. The collection launches today and each piece will be adorned with a seed based hangtag that can be planted and grown into wildflowers. How’s that for eco-friendly!?
On top of all that eco-love, the Free People Maheya line is positively beautifully, not to mention skin-friendly! Peruse the collection below.
