Say WHAT!!! Checkout the latest collaboration between Japanese fashion designer Comme Des Garçon’s and Converse for the Comme Des Garçons Play x Converse Chuck Taylor. The Comme Des Garçons Play heart logo has been garnering a lot of hype and notoriety over the last year on shirts, cardigan and sweaters, especially when being worn by a certainly Mr. Kanye West. This particular collaboration meshes brown canvas and with the signature heart logo on the outside, and an embroidered Converse All-Star logo in the inside. These particular Chuck’s will set you back about $100 USD, which is awfully expensive for a pair of canvas Converse shoes, but compared to the price point of this Japanese fashion company’s t-shirts it is nothing. Oh and while we are on the topic Comme Des Garçons is French for “like boys,” interesting.
