Matthew Logan Vasquez, frontman of Delta Spirit, brought his solo project to Toronto’s Drake Hotel on Wednesday Night. His set drew from throughout his career, including tracks from Middle Brother, Delta Spirit and his new solo record. With a small rhythm section backing him Vasquez tore through his set, a remarkable guitar player, he dominated most of the stage throughout the night. While the Drake may not have been at capacity, Vasquez had no trouble getting those in attendance to dance along.
