One of the best things about the summer, other than the weather, is the abundance of long weekends. Last weekend, while most Torontonians made their way out of the city to woodland paradises, we stuck around the city to go to concerts, drink cocktails and hang out at pool bars. As always, we remain fresh to death, even when spending a relaxing long weekend in the city. Above and below is the outfit I wore to celebrate the extra day of reprieve.
Starting from top and working my way down, I am wearing a brand new New York Yankees New Era fitted baseball cap that I grabbed last month while in the City that Never Sleeps. After that, and moving downwards I’m wearing a pair of brown hand crafted acetate frame “Lyric” sunglasses from Lifetime Collective. The yellow ‘Esquina Floral Print’ button-down short-sleeved shirt from Saturdays Surf NYC recently had the honour of being one of our “Must Have” pieces. Of course now that I have it, you must not.
To spice up my arms, and because it is how I tell time, I’m rocking my aviation inspired Swiss Army Victorinox ‘AirBoss Mechanical’ watch, and navy blue ‘Zuma’ shorts from Lifetime Collective‘s ‘Uniform Standard’ collection. These shorts are perfect, as they are lightweight and sit well above the knee. You need to show a little knee every now and then. Finally, I decided to break out my new grey/green/blue New Balance 574 Yacht Club sneakers to tie the whole outfit together.
That’s what I wore this past long weekend, and to quote Kanye: “Don’t talk about style cause I embarrass you.”
