Well this seems to be the height of winter boot decadence. The Sorel Caribou Stingray Boot is made from an entire stingray hide for each pair of boots, giving one of the boots a silver mark where the stingray’s eye once were, and is cover in a vulcanized rubber shell, AeroTrac outsole, and removable felted wool and shearling inner boot. Further to this the boot is seam-sealed, which means it’s also waterproof, which I would expect from a boot that cost $800!
