Shoegaze pioneers Slowdive have released their first piece of music in 22 years. The English band formed in 1989 and took the shoegaze genre by storm throughout the early 90s, but eventually broke up in 1995 shortly after the release of their last album Pygmalion . Slowdive made a quiet yet surprising comeback in 2014, and have now finally made the leap to producing new music once again. “Star Roving” is their soaring new single, packed with a dreamlike quality submerged in churning guitars and elegant reverb.
