Oh boy oh boy oh boy!!! As of tomorrow, Friday November 20th the incredibly iconic Reebok pump will be celebrating its 20th birthday. In celebration of this, Reebok has commissioned designs from leading sneaker stores from all over the world to create their own interpretation of the shoe, and let me just say this now, there are some pretty mean looking kicks! The shops and designers tapped for this global event are some of the worlds heavyweights including Europe’s: 24 Kilates, colette, Hanon, Patta, Size?, Solebox and SNS. From Asia: Atmos, Espionage, Juice and Kasina. And from North America: A.R.C., Bodega, Commonwealth, HUF, Packer Shoes, Kicks-Hi, St Alfred, Undefeated and Canada’s own Stolen Riches. For each shops uniquely designed shoe, only be 31 pairs of each will be made, and will become one of the hottest kicks of the season, guaranteed!
Starting tomorrow and ending on Saturday night, super exclusive parties will be thrown in almost every major city across the globe to debut the shoes, as well as have a good ol’ fashioned jam. Not to toot my own horn, but Sidewalk Hustle has been invited to the Toronto party which will feature a short film, exclusive looks at the shoes, an open bar, and performance from hip hop legend Pete Rock!
