We caught Sydney rock band The Jezabels yesterday at Osheaga and despite not being too familiar with their tunes, we thought they did a surprisingly great job of gathering a massive crowd of hard core fans at four in the afternoon.
Lead vocalist Hayley McGlone held it down in a black skin tight cat suit of sorts engaging the crowd with amazing dance moves and facial expressions. Drummer Samuel Lockwood pounded it out like it was his last day on the job and their energy was off-set by keyboardist Heather Shannon and guitarist Nik Kaloper’s chilled out vibes.
