We at Sidewalk Hustle love the West Coast for many reasons, most of which include the amazing craft cocktail scene and fresh Pacific sushi (we won’t get into the better weather they’ve seemed to have this year…). And now, there’s a new spot that combines these things – Bar None has just reopened with an L.A. concept and will be on our list the next time we stop in Vancity.
After 22 years in the nightlife game, Bar None brings a brand new VIP experience to Vancouver club-goers. They brought in L.A. nightlife operator JB Moresco, heavyweight behind hotspots such as the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and Paul & André, to inject some elevated flair. The new Bar None boasts sophisticated interiors and innovative design, including a central DJ booth that puts performing local and international DJs in the middle of the action.
Most exciting of all, Bar None has partnered with another local mainstay, Hapa Izakaya, to feature a permanent sake and sushi bar that will open until 1am each night. Guests can start their night with a bite at the Hapa Bar before sliding over to a VIP booth or hitting the dancefloor. Combined with a new craft cocktail program, Bar None is set to corner the elevated nightlife scene in Vancouver.
Bar None had their Grand Opening party last week, featuring special guest DJ Sebu Simonian of Capital Cities. Take a look at photos of the new space below and start planning your Friday night.
