Drake General Store is teaming up with 122-year-old global footwear manufacturer Bata to release a limited edition, exclusive design of the iconic Bata Bullets sneaker.
In celebration of Canada’s sesquicentennial, the sneaker marks Bata’s return to Canada, celebrating its roots in the Canadian and Toronto marketplace. The shoe will launch during the Bata Heritage takeover at the flagship Drake General Store (1151 Queen St. West) from April 19 to May 14.
DGS will again partner with local men’s beachwear company Bather on an exclusive line of made in Canada men’s swim trunks and five-panel caps, also launching April 19. Both projects mark the first of a series of collaborative designs with select partners, titled +collaboration. Each +collaboration will feature a unique take on Drake General Store’s well-known cross symbol.
Both the swim trunks and sneakers will be available in-store and online beginning April 12.
