It has been quite the year for Toronto’s prodigal son and hip hop’s MVP, Drake, from Apple deals, to unexpected mixtape drops, to one of the most ruthless/boring rap beefs in recent years. Now he ups the ante again with a cover appearance on W magazine’s Art Issue. Rocking luxury brand Elder Statesman, the images were then subject to the creative whims and fancies of artists KAWS, Houston artist Mike Flood, the mysterious Jim Joe, and others. Conceptually it is really cool.
