To mark the tenth anniversary of the Alexander McQueen’s iconic skull scarf Damien Hirst collaborated with the brand to release a collection of 30 one off scarves all adapted from his Entomology series. The designs feature bugs, butterflies, spiders, and other crawly insects spun into kaleidoscopic and geometric shapes that make up an almost 3D skull shape on chiffon, cashmere, and twill.
In the striking video campaign shot by fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø, models sway slowly behind scarves blowing in the wind looking like spooky porcelain ghost snowflakes with their faces disguised by the scarf designs. The collection hits stores and their online store on November 15th and retails between $515 to $1175. Take a look at a good selections of the designs below as well as the video clip.
