Whoa! Stop the proverbial presses! French cool-guy fashion and culture boutique colette has just announced that they are closing their flagship Paris store on December 20th, after twenty years of business. The brand took to their Instagram account earlier today to make the announcement.
Originally founded in 1997 by Colette Roussaux, the brand and store have managed to remain relevant and cool for the last twenty years. However according to colette’s Instagram statement, the closure is due to Roussaux stepping down: “Colette Roussaux has reached the time when she would like to take her time; and colette can not exist without Colette.”
