After six years as the creative director of the Paris-based brand, Clare Waight Keller has announced that she will be leaving Chloé.
In a statement, Waight Keller said:
“Working for this maison has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. Chloé is a brand with values close to my heart and I have truly enjoyed working with some of the best talents in the industry. I feel privileged to have worked for a maison with such a heritage and I am very proud of all that has been achieved.”
Both Waight Keller and Geoffroy De La Bourdonnaye, the president of Chloe, say the decision was mutual. Keller’s final show with the brand will be Fall 2017, which will be shown on March 2nd at Paris Fashion Week. Chloé has yet to name a successor.
