When it comes to my fragrance I rarely stray from my go-to scent, but recently I came across the new Banana Republic ‘Wildblue’ Eau de Toilette for him. The smell was so immediately pleasing that I decided to give it a whirl. After about a week of wearing it everyday, I have now fully incorporated it into my summer fragrance cycle. I enjoy the aromatic smell of Sage, White Tea, Driftwood, Beech Cedar, and some other scents I can not place.
Developed by renowned perfumer Jean-Claude Delville of Drom for Banana Republic, following his successful launches of the brands Classic, Wildbloom, and W scents. Wildblue was inspired by spending time under the bountiful skies near the Sea of Cortez, which Delville describes as, “an unexpected moment of beauty and escape.” Wildblue comes in a modern oval bottle with a smooth taupe woven cord running across the bottle, conveying a slight touch of adventure and relaxed elegance.
Wildblue Eau de Toilette (1.7 fl oz/50 mL) retails for $60 and is available exclusively at Banana Republic stores. Go give it a sniff.
