As part of a newly former partnership (this is the second time), Converse has teamed up with the Ace Hotel and its creative head Alex Calderwood for two new styles of canvas and rubber-wrapped 1940s throwback sneakers. Calderwood took the iconic Chuck Taylor and made them look like the vintage wading boots that Converse created for U.S. military basic training back in the 40’s. The sneakers are a exclusive limited run of only 300 pairs sold exclusive through the Ace Hotel New York, Seattle, Portland and online here. The shoes are called the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Bosey and retail for the very reasonable price of $100 USD, which is pretty awesome actually. Okay, not go get em before they’re gone.
