Converse has just released the first look at their next creative partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation. Launching this spring on February 7th, the collection blends two truly iconic elements of culture: Warhol’s visionary prints and the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star. A portion of the proceeds will go to the The Andy Warhol Foundation, an organization which supports contemporary visual arts.Â
Much of the collection features Warhol’s bold prints including his most well-known infatuation with the Campbell’s Soup Can. According to Michael Hermann of The Andy Warhol Foundation the collection, “honors the artist’s enduring legacy which inspires us to ignore convention and proudly be whatever we want to be.”
