In a sea of bros in tank tops, girls in bum bearing ripped cut-offs, and dirty festival trotting feet, we managed to snap a few stylish music lovers along the way at Osheaga this year.
At a glance we saw leather, tassels, floral crowns, Cambridge Satchels (and their imitators), button downs with tribal cookers, and tons of super rad sunglasses. Neon always seems to play a big part on sunny festival days, as do floral and tropical prints, and we loved seeing the two trends mixed together with leather and tribal accents. Footwear of choice seemed to be vintage leather boots, converse (both freshly new and distressed), neon sandals, and rubber boots, on Sunday when it rained
There’s no question dressing for a festival can be a challenge, you’ve got to take into account the weather (albeit sun or rain), what you’ll need to take with you, and more importantly what you’ll use to carry it in.
Take a gander at our round-up of style shots from Osheaga 2012. We couldn’t resist adding in a quick snap of Yeasayer’s front man Chris Keating we took after our interview because he had cool shades and a perfectly worn in Clash tee on.
