Miley Cyrus may have lost her Vogue cover but that didn’t stop her from soaping down in the latest issue of Rolling Stone Magazine. They’ve released the outtakes from the photoshoot by Theo Wenner which is accompanied by an editorial interview written by the magazines editor Josh Eells.
The issue is set to hit stands shortly and we thought we’d share some of her quotes, since there sin’t much to be said about the fashion (she’ not wearing much at all):
“I need my own Rolling Stone column where every issue it’s just something crazy I do.”
On her VMA performance: “No one is talking about the man behind the ass… It was a lot of ‘Miley Twerks on Robin Thicke,’ but never, ‘Robin Thicke Grinds Up on Miley.’ So obviously there’s a double standard.”
On one of her many tattoos that reads: THAT HIS PLACE SHALL NEVER BE WITH THOSE COLD AND TIMID SOULS WHO NEITHER KNOW VICTORY NOR DEFEAT: “It’s from a Teddy Roosevelt speech,” she says. “It’s about how people judge who wins and who loses, but they’re not the ones in there fighting.”
On talking to Kanye before the VMAs: “He came in and goes, ‘There are not a lot of artists I believe in more than you right now'” “The whole room went quiet. I was like, ‘Yo – can you say that again?!'”
On her first Rolling Stone cover story: “I thought about going to play laser tag,” she says. “But laser tag sucks.” Naturally, the next idea was getting a tattoo – ROLLING on her right foot, $TONE on the left.
Check her out getting said tattoo below, among a few other photos from the shoot below along with her new video “23”.
