Jonathan Rhys Meyers has proven to be a pretty versatile, if at times weird, actor. He’s playing The Clash’s Joe Strummer in the upcoming film London Town, about the band and the burgeoning punk scene in 1979 London.
He performs The Clash’s “Clash City Rockers” above while the film’s protagonist played by Daniel Huttlestone hears them for the first time. The film was directed by Derrick Borte (The Joneses). Watch the clip above and the film trailer below.
