Eccentric Icelandic artist Björk, gets chopped in two in the Andrew Thomas Huang-directed clip Black Lake, a new sound and video installation commissioned by The Museum of Modern Art in New York. The video trailer below opens with Björk singing the intro to “Black Lake”, a song from her latest album, Vulnicura, from which the films takes its title.
All this dark musical drama sets the stage for the immersive music and film experience, with themes of “pain, perishing, and rebirth”, an exhibit that highlights her 20-year career, and runs from March 8 – June 7. Press play below and if you are in New York, be sure to head to the exhibit!
