When you think of Manolo Blahnik and his fabulous shoes, you think sophistication, elegance, and timelessness. In this interview with Vogue Blahnik shows off his more whimsical side, telling the story of how he wanted to work in film and still entertains that idea, how he hates sneakers because they “destroys your footsie”, and how he just wants to make enough money to pay his rent. Considering his shoes cost upwards of $700 + we doubt that’s a problem for Blahnik.
We love how his European eccentricities come out in this clip, especially when he nearly throws Nike under the bus for ruining everyones feet.
