The outdoor activewear brand The North Face has announced its continued partnership with the Japanese brand UNDERCOVER designer Jun Takahashi. This will be the second collection of SOUKUU, a line with a strong emphasis on performance technology intentionally built for hiking and trail running through the design lens of UNDERCOVER.
SOUKUU Season 2 marks the first performance-driven collaboration co-developed by both brands, with thoughtful and functional elements built into each item. The totality of the collaboration artfully creates a layering system of dress that allows the wearer to interpret how their trail running/hiking look manifests. This is the vision that Takahashi wanted with the designs fusing simple yet sophisticated forms with performance-driven and athlete-tested technology.
The collection will feature a packable fishtail shell parka, belted utility shell pants, packable wind jacket, trail run tee’s, graphic tee’s, shorts, backpacks, hats, and shoes. All pieces will be available online at TheNorthFace.com and in select stores beginning March 28.
