For their third appearance at London Collections: Men, Coach’s creative director, Stuart Vevers once again brought new life to the fashion house. Inspired by the 90’s hip hop scene, and the cultural melting pot of New York City the fall 2016 collection screamed East Coast vibes.
With oversized sheepskin outerwear, clean white sneakers, and a plethora of plaid and leather, the runway was alive with attitude and cartoonish characters. The patchwork messenger bags, chunky black felt hats and big black boots added a stompyness to the collection, that you can only find on the streets of New York City.
This was a well rounded and brilliantly curated show at London’s Lindley Hall. I for one am looking forward to getting my mitts on some of these pieces this Fall.
