Earlier this month we jet-setted off to Miami Beach for a few much need days of sunshine. While the bulk of the trip was spent doing business, I made sure to sneak a few hours putting my feet in the water in the Florida sunshine. Feeling excited and totally weird about putting on summer clothing out of season, I ran down the beach with my Miista huaraches (which always make me excited to slip on), covered up in a piece from H&M’s new spring summer Studio collection.
Printed with tropical leaves with cactuses embroidered in metallic thread, the tunic was the perfect way to stay chic and cover up from the sun when I needed. I wore a flamingo printed one piece bather (as the Aussies say) from Virginia Johnson’s new Le Weekend collection. I love the faltering cut of suit and the ruching around the middle makes all your beach body insecurities practically melt away.
Sunscreen, a pair of Super sunglasses and a waterproof fimo necklace from Australia and I was ready to chill if only for Le Weekend. See some shots of the glorious beach below.
