Sophie Buhai and Lisa Mayock of Vena Cava have been creating graceful garments that from afar reek of class and elegance and yet, upon closer inspection reveal interesting and often unusual details. The brand was born following their graduation from Parson’s when they created a twelve look line on the floor of their Brooklyn apartment. Greeted with tremendous success, Vena Cava has grown since 2003 and is now carried at over fifty fine retailers across the US.
