Yumi Zouma have returned with another shiny new tune from their forthcoming debut album Yoncalla set for release on May 27th via Cascine. “Barricade (Matter Of Fact)” is a song written in what might be perceived as unconventional conditions these days in the music industry, something the bands Josh Burgess describes as a “diplomatic creative [arrangement]” according to the press release. The track was a truly collaborative effort between all the band members written together in Charlie Ryder’s apartment line by line, melody by melody, then choped and refined into the strongest parts.
