Earlier this month Brooklyn experimental pop duo Young Magic announced the upcoming release of their third record Still Life and shared their dreamy single “Lucien.” Now, they’ve shared another peak with their new track “Valhalla (Reprise),” accompanied by a video. Made by Vinyl Williams, the video dives into a trippy 3D world that matches the stuttering track. As singer Melati Malay explained…

“‘Valhalla (Reprise)’ was the last song recorded for Still Life during a late night session at Rioux’s studio in Bed Stuy – infinite loops circulating in a world between an ancient reality and a virtual one. For me, this album was a process of sifting through my family’s history to better understand the present, so naturally, it felt at home within the seeking, mirrored halls of Lionel’s Valhalla.”

Check out the video for “Valhalla (Reprise)” above.

Still Life comes out May 13th on Carpark. Pre-order it today via iTunes or the Carpark shop. You can also catch them on tour with Yeasayer, check out the dates below.
